Job Description The Financial Services & Insurance Industry (FSI) Senior Financials Consultant will be responsible for ensuring the successful implementation of Workday’s Financials solution for our FSI customers and help establish and champion best practices for all FSI deployments. The ideal candidate should have experience within the FSI Industry in General Ledger, Consolidations, Allocations, Currency Revaluations and Translations, and an understanding of financial touch points to Projects, Accounts Payable, Cash Management, and Assets. Key Areas of Responsibility
Become an expert in the Workday Financials product suite Provide FSI Industry perspective for customer business requirements Ensure FSI Industry best practices are maintained to reflect new industry requirements and trends Understand client business requirements and participate in engagements Serve as a mentor for new Financial Consultants Ensure the client takes advantage of Workday FSI Industry best practices Ensure the client is referenceable once in production Participate in update training and other events to share product skills with other consultants About You
Basic Qualifications
P-4 5 years FSI industry ERP implementations General Ledger, Consolidations, Allocations, Currency Revaluations and Translations implementations experience Financial touchpoints to Projects, Accounts Payable, Cash Management and Assets experience Workday deployment experience Ability to travel up to 50% of the time P-5 7 years FSI industry ERP implementations General Ledger, Consolidations, Allocations, Currency Revaluations and Translations implementations experience Financial touchpoints to Projects, Accounts Payable, Cash Management and Assets experience Workday deployment experience Ability to travel up to 50% of the time Other Qualifications
Experience with Workday Accounting Center Experience implementing Workday, SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, including active listening and the ability to tailor communication style to diverse audiences Strong industry knowledge and the ability to stay abreast of current trends, competitive landscapes, and regulatory environments to contribute to strategic planning, risk management, and identifying new opportunities Strong influencing skills and the ability to drive consensus and collaborate with stakeholders Proven mentorship skills and the ability to foster individual growth through effective communication, constructive feedback, and goal setting Comprehensive product knowledge and understanding of product features, benefits, applications, and market positioning Exceptional relationship management skills to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and colleagues Proven ability to gather and analyze requirements through various techniques to ensure project clarity Strong solutions design skills to analyze business challenges and develop effective technology-enabled solutions Experience in strategic business consulting, including market analysis, financial acumen, and strategic planning Excellent task management skills to prioritize, organize, and execute tasks effectively Exceptional teamwork and collaboration skills Excellent time management skills to prioritize and manage workload to meet deadlines Application Details
