Overview
Optomi, in partnership with a Fortune 10 eCommerce company, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Marketplace team. You will design and develop secure, scalable backend services for a cloud marketplace platform using Java, Python, and a wide range of AWS services. This is a long-term contract opportunity working onsite in Seattle 4 days per week. Responsibilities
Develop and maintain backend services using Java or Python Design and implement cloud-native solutions leveraging AWS services such as CDK, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, IAM, etc. Ensure security and identity best practices across all systems Monitor, optimize, and troubleshoot applications using CloudWatch and CloudTrail Incorporate AI-driven features using Bedrock and other AWS tools Requirements
6+ years of backend development experience with Java or Python Strong background in security and identity for cloud applications Experience with infrastructure as code and CI/CD practices Familiarity building microfrontends with TypeScript is a plus
