is recruiting for

Business Systems Analysts II (BSA II) . BSA II's evaluate existing business processes/systems/workflows and develop business applications to enhance delivery of departmental services. Assignments include studies in workflow and technology integration; projects requiring research, analysis, and solution development; interacting with all levels of technical, administrative, and professional staff as well as leading a team and assigning project tasks to team members. This position will lead project status meetings, identify gaps, assess the needs of the department and research new, up-to-date solutions. Prior to appointment, applicants will be fingerprinted and must pass abackground investigation. Applicants must not have been convicted of a felony or currently be on court ordered probation (or have been with the last year). Two (2) years of experience performing IT business systems analysis or information systems analysis, including four (4) of the following areas: requirements gathering, end user acceptance testing, process mapping, workflow diagramming, documenting business rules, feasibility studies, and cost/benefit analysis. Thirty (30) semester (45 quarter) units of completed coursework from and accredited college or university in information technology, computer science, business administration or a closely related field. A list of coursework is required unless you have a bachelor's degree in a qualifying field. Education Substitution: One (1) year of additional qualifying experience may substitute for the required education.

Desired Qualifications The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience solving technical issues, interacting with end users and program developers, and acting in a lead capacity for other technical staff, in addition to providing infrastructure support. In addition the ideal candidate will have experience utilizing the following: Guard 1, Mugshot System, DocuSign, Structured Query Language (SQL), Network Demilitarized Zone (DMZ), and Fusion Inventory Management.
