Executive Administrative Assistant

to support the Founder & Executive Director in day-to-day operations. This role is ideal for a college student, recent graduate, or community member looking to gain valuable nonprofit experience while contributing to a mission-driven organization. This is an

unpaid internship/volunteer position

with flexible scheduling. Key Responsibilities Provide administrative support to the Executive Director, including scheduling, calendar management, and phone call/email correspondence. Assist with document preparation, file organization (Google Drive), and data entry. Support event planning and logistics for Rooted Interiors programs, fundraisers, and community partnerships. Coordinate communications with board members, volunteers, and community partners. Help manage volunteer sign-ups, confirmations, and follow-ups. Prepare meeting agendas, take minutes, and track action items. Assist with grant applications, donor tracking, and basic reporting. Represent Rooted Interiors with professionalism and kindness in all communications. Qualifications Strong organizational and time-management skills. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive, Calendar). Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment. Professional, reliable, and detail-oriented.
