ASPIRE Internship Program - Summer 2026
Eligibility:
The Ben E. Keith ASPIRE Corporate Credit Internship is open to actively enrolled students entering their senior year or who are current seniors. Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 and must submit a resume with their application for consideration. You must apply to your preferred location and are responsible for securing housing for the internship's duration.
Important Note: Relatives of current Ben E. Keith employees are not eligible to apply for the ASPIRE Internship.

Keith Foods is a paid, 11-week rotational experience designed to offer you a comprehensive understanding of our operations and the foodservice industry.

For over 100 years, Ben E. Keith Foods has been a leader in the food distribution industry, specializing in purchasing, operations, logistics, credit, marketing, sales, and meat processing. We provide high-quality food products and services to restaurants across the United States, working across the entire food supply chain from sourcing to delivery. Position Summary
The Corporate Credit Intern will support the Credit and Finance team in evaluating customer creditworthiness, monitoring account activity, and assisting with projects related to risk assessment and receivables management. This internship provides hands-on experience in corporate credit analysis, financial statement review, and exposure to the decision-making process that helps safeguard company assets while supporting business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with the review and analysis of customer credit applications and financial statements
Conduct research on current and prospective customers to assess credit risk
Help monitor customer accounts for payment activity, aging reports, and credit limit adherence
Support the team in preparing documentation for credit reviews and internal reporting
Partner with collections and sales teams to resolve account issues
Contribute to projects that enhance credit processes, systems, and reporting
Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
Qualifications
Working toward a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications
Ability to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail and accuracy
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Interest in credit, risk management, and corporate finance
Minimum GPA of 3.0 required
Learning Opportunities
Exposure to corporate credit and risk management practices
Hands-on experience analyzing financial data and business creditworthiness
Development of professional skills in communication, teamwork, and decision support
Networking with finance and business professionals across the organization
Program Highlights: Duration: 11 weeks Start Date: May 18, 2026 End Date: July 31, 2026 Location: Interns will be assigned to the specific division they applied to and are responsible for arranging their own housing and transportation by May 1, 2026.
