We are currently seeking a Journeyman Information Assurance Analyst to support operations in Lakehurst, NJ. This is a full-time CONUS position requiring an active DoD Secret clearance. What You'll Do
Reporting & Briefings: Assist management in the creation and delivery of formal and informal reports, briefings, and customer input regarding key security and functionality requirements. Provide detailed insights on system architecture, security design, and the implementation of policies and procedures to ensure compliance with security standards and regulations. Incident Investigation & Mitigation: Conduct in-depth investigations of security incidents, identifying the root causes and providing both immediate corrective actions and long-term protective measures. Work proactively to reduce the frequency and impact of incidents, minimizing overall risk exposure to systems and sensitive data. Security Vulnerability Tracking: Support the identification, assessment, and management of security vulnerabilities across the organization's systems. Track the progress of vulnerability remediation efforts, ensuring that all issues are addressed in a timely manner, and that risks are mitigated effectively. Regional Security Performance Reporting: Collaborate with Regional Information Security Officers (RISO) to develop and produce regional security performance reports. Track and analyze Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to security posture, and help ensure alignment with organizational security goals and industry best practices. Security Vulnerability Reporting & Closure: Contribute to the creation of detailed vulnerability reports and track open issues through to closure. Ensure that all security vulnerabilities are documented, communicated to the relevant stakeholders, and resolved in accordance with established security protocols. Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure that security policies and measures are clearly communicated and effectively implemented. Provide support and guidance in meeting organizational and regulatory security requirements. Continuous Improvement: Participate in the ongoing improvement of security procedures and systems, contributing insights based on investigations, incident trends, and best practices to enhance overall security performance. What You'll Bring Required Qualifications: Education & Experience: BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related scientific/technical discipline with a minimum of 3 years of information assurance experience Certifications: Eligible to obtain and keep active, a DoD Secret security clearance. Proficient with modern IT tools and infrastructure technologies Travel & Passport: Some overnight stays possible. Work Environment Compliance with vaccination and medical requirements for TDY/OCONUS roles as per Vaccine Recommendations by AOR | Health.mil Primarily an office-based role in Lakehurst, NJ Standard desk/computer work with flexibility for walking and movement on site Must be able to work in an office environment, sitting at a desk, looking at a computer for most of the workday. Work is physically comfortable; the employee has discretion about sitting, walking, standing, etc. May be required to travel short distances to offices/conference rooms and buildings on site.
