We are currently seeking a Senior Information Assurance Analyst to support operations in Lakehurst, NJ. This is a full-time CONUS position requiring an active DoD Top Secret clearance. What You'll Do
Security Strategy & Implementation: Design, implement, and manage technical and procedural security measures to protect organizational data and systems from unauthorized access, breaches, and other cyber threats. Risk Assessment & Mitigation: Conduct comprehensive risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities in systems, networks, and applications. Recommend and oversee the implementation of appropriate mitigation strategies to reduce risk exposure. Incident Monitoring & Response: Monitor and analyze security alerts, logs, and incidents to ensure prompt detection and effective response. Coordinate incident response efforts, investigate root causes, and apply corrective and preventative measures to minimize impact and prevent recurrence. Reporting & Communication: Prepare and deliver formal and informal security reports, briefings, and executive summaries. Communicate findings, risk assessments, and mitigation plans to both technical teams and senior leadership in a clear and actionable manner. Policy Development & Compliance: Collaborate with IT, legal, and compliance teams to ensure that security policies and procedures are current, effective, and aligned with regulatory requirements and industry standards. Security Audits: Perform routine and ad-hoc security audits to evaluate the effectiveness of security controls. Document audit results, identify gaps, and work with stakeholders to implement improvements. Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as a security advisor to internal teams, helping integrate cybersecurity considerations into project planning, system architecture, and business processes. What You'll Bring Required Qualifications: Education & Experience: BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related scientific/technical discipline. Requires a minimum of ten (10) years of information assurance experience. Certifications: Must have a current and active DoD Top Secret security clearance. Proficient with modern IT tools and infrastructure technologies. Travel & Passport Some overnight stays possible. Work Environment Compliance with vaccination and medical requirements. Primarily an office-based role. Standard desk/computer work with flexibility for walking and movement on site. May be required to travel short distances to offices/conference rooms and buildings on site. Background & Security Employment is contingent upon successful background investigation.
