Credit Manager at Apt. The Credit Manager is responsible for establishing and managing customer accounts, assessing creditworthiness, and ensuring timely collection of receivables. This role requires strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills to handle sensitive customer issues and partner with internal teams to achieve financial objectives. Key Responsibilities
Establish new customer accounts by reviewing credit applications and assessing creditworthiness Set up new jobs by verifying bonds and sending out Notices to Owners; ensure compliance with lien/bond laws Monitor, protect, and manage accounts receivable balances Contact customers regarding outstanding account balances File liens and bond claims to secure accounts receivable in assigned regions Handle sensitive customer issues and provide timely resolution Process and complete daily lien waivers and releases Resolve customer disputes and adjustments promptly to maintain clean aging reports Provide regular updates to management on customer accounts and collections Collaborate with all business lines to ensure customer satisfaction and resolve account issues Achieve targeted monthly collection percentage goals Qualifications
Strong financial acumen and ability to understand organizational objectives Excellent analytical skills with high attention to detail Strong verbal and written communication skills Proficient technical skills and familiarity with relevant software and systems Details
