About the Role
We are an early-stage, mission-driven start-up using voice AI to transform healthcare. As part of our founding engineering team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping both our product and technical foundation. Youll work on unsolved, high-impact problems and help define how humans interact with AI in the context of real-world healthcare applications. This is a unique opportunity to build meaningful systems at the intersection of voice AI, healthcare automation, and user experiencefrom first principles. Key Projects Youll Tackle
Develop outbound voice and SMS engagement tools to improve patient communication and streamline care coordination. Build an internal application for healthcare staff to monitor AI conversations, configure automation, and manage exception handling. Scale our conversational AI platform with an emphasis on call reliability, latency, and smooth handling of concurrent interactions. Create secure and reliable integrations with healthcare systems (EHRs like Epic, Cerner, Athena), scheduling platforms, and telephony providers. Our Tech Stack

Build scalable full-stack features across our core platform using Node.js, React, and Postgres. Develop patient-facing, AI-powered applications using LLMs, speech-to-text (STT), text-to-speech (TTS), and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG). Implement frameworks for AI testing, observability, QA, and safety/risk management. Operate with a high degree of autonomy in a fast-paced environmentideating, experimenting, and iterating quickly. What Were Looking For
3+ years of software engineering experience (start-up or healthcare AI experience is a plus) Proficiency in modern JavaScript/TypeScript, React, and Node.js Strong understanding of LLMs, APIs, and/or real-time communication systems A bias for action, ownership mindset, and comfort working in ambiguous environments Why Join?
