Electrical Technician
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building control panels based on schematics, performing point-to-point wiring, and inspecting and testing assembled panels. You will maintain a neat and efficient work area while ensuring all equipment and tools are in good condition. Responsibilities: Build control panels based on schematics. Perform point-to-point wiring of panels. Inspect and test completed panels. Maintain equipment and tools in a neat, clean, and efficient work area. Read and interpret electrical and control schematics. Assemble and wire panels for PLC controls, operator consoles, variable speed drives, motor controls, and pneumatic controls. Collaborate with the shop manager to schedule and prioritize tasks. Occasionally support installations at customer sites. Essential Skills: 2+ years of experience building panels for automated machinery. Proficiency in reading electrical and automation schematics. Familiarity with NEC and UL codes and electrical safe work practices. Solid mechanical ability. Ability to meet schedules and deadlines. Attention to detail. Comfort and knowledge in the proper use of hand tools and small power tools. Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
