$115,000 - $125,000 Position Overview:
We are seeking a Project Manager I – Training Lead
to join our team supporting a federal contract. This hybrid role is based in either
Ashburn, VA ,
San Antonio, TX
or Orlando, FL , and focuses on designing, developing, and delivering training programs that support project goals and enhance workforce capabilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in instructional design and training delivery, with experience managing training initiatives in a structured environment. This role requires coordination with stakeholders, subject matter experts, and technical teams to ensure training materials are accurate, engaging, and aligned with project objectives. Key Responsibilities:
Lead the design, development, and implementation of training programs and materials. Manage training schedules, logistics, and delivery across multiple platforms (in-person, virtual, and hybrid). Collaborate with project teams to identify training needs and develop customized solutions. Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness and make improvements as needed. Ensure compliance with federal standards and client requirements. Maintain documentation and reporting related to training activities. Support project management tasks as needed, including planning, tracking, and reporting. Minimum Qualifications:
U.S. Citizenship (required due to DHS system access regulations). Ability to pass a T4 Public Trust
investigation.
Candidates who have already passed a T4 or T5
investigation are strongly preferred.
Minimum of
three (3) years of experience in designing and delivering training programs in any field. Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and virtual training platforms (e.g., Zoom, Teams, WebEx). Experience working in a government or contractor environment is a plus. DHS and/or CBP experience is a strong plus.
