Description of Work: In this key position, you will assist the public with driver licensing and related services. Your responsibilities will include professionally greeting customers, verifying applicant identification, completing application forms, and entering data into online driver license application software. You conduct vision screenings using a telebinocular instrument. Additionally, you will input test results and customer applications into online systems, address public inquiries independently, and ensure you are well-versed in the services offered, including the requirements for obtaining REAL ID and non-REAL ID products. You will also assist with driver's license renewals, duplicates, out-of-state transfers, motorcycle licenses, and commercial driver's licenses, while being knowledgeable about various restrictions and endorsements. Work Schedule and Additional Information: - Full-time employment, 80 hours bi-weekly - Work hours are 8:15 AM to 4:45 PM, Tuesday - Saturday, with a 30-minute lunch. - Overtime and travel as needed - Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position. - Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. Required Experience, Training & Eligibility: Qualifications: Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: - One year of experience obtaining, evaluating, and providing information to the public. Other Requirements: - You must meet the PA residency requirement.
