Job Opportunity: Pediatric Hospitalist Inpatient Coverage
Location:
Fort Myers, Florida (must hold active FL license) Start Date:
December 2025 (coverage through December, possible extension into January) Schedule:
Days, nights, and weekends available 12- or 24-hour shifts Day Shift: 6:00 AM 6:00 PM Night Shift: 6:00 PM 6:00 AM Coverage needed 7 days per week
Assignment Overview The Pediatric Hospitalist will provide
inpatient pediatric care , including rounding on general pediatric patients, managing admissions, and collaborating with subspecialists. Provider must be independent in
lumbar punctures .
Responsibilities Inpatient rounding on general pediatric patients Manage admissions for new patients Collaborate with subspecialists and multidisciplinary teams Perform lumbar punctures independently Provide
12- or 24-hour call coverage
depending on shift assignment
Candidate Requirements Board Certified in Pediatrics Active Florida License (required) BLS (AHA) certification NICA membership/receipts required Must submit the following for consideration: Updated CV NPDB report
(within 3 months; must be clean) Case logs : 24 inpatient records from the past 12 months (primary source, not personal logs; include patient ages if possible) Documentation of board certification and Florida license
