You'll be responsible for inspecting products, conducting precision tests, analyzing measurements, and documenting production data to ensure all manufacturing processes meet strict industry and internal quality requirements.Perform detailed inspections on incoming raw materials and outgoing products using AN, MS, NAS, and MIL standardsConduct First Article Inspections (FAIs) and generate documentation per AS9102 requirementsReject and return nonconforming products and materialsRead and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specificationsUse precision tools such as micrometers, calipers, plug/ring gauges, optical comparators to verify dimensions and tolerancesMaintain and enter inspection results into internal databases and complete supporting documentationCollaborate with Sales, Purchasing, and Production teams to resolve quality-related issuesCommunicate directly with customers and suppliers to address and resolve inspection discrepanciesMonitor calibration status and functionality of inspection equipment; report maintenance needsStay up to date with evolving quality practices and industry standardsSupport continuous improvement by recommending process enhancementsEnsure compliance with AS9100 quality system Qualifications3+ years of experience in quality inspection within a manufacturing environment (aerospace or defense strongly preferred)Proficient in using micrometers, calipers, height gauges, optical comparators, and other measuring toolsStrong understanding of fastener specs, materials, and finishesKnowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) and blueprint readingFamiliar with AN, MS, NAS, MIL, IATF, and AS9100 standardsSkilled in math, measurement conversions, and technical reading comprehensionStrong communication and documentation skillsHigh attention to detail and ability to work independently or in a team settingCertification in Quality Control is a strong plusJobot is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
