INNOCEAN USA , a full-service advertising agency, is looking for a skilled Media Performance & In-Market Strategy Director to join our team. This role oversees performance & In-Market Strategy for a major automotive client. This position is ideal for someone who has hands-on experience in digital media and investment, and who can elevate tactical details into strategic narratives that drive business decisions.

This position is responsible for architecting and executing a full lower-funnel media strategy by integrating digital performance channels with localized dealer (Tier 2) activations to drive high-value actions and conversions. This role is accountable for connecting Tier 1 brand efforts to Tier 3 purchase behavior, using data, technology, and media to guide investment decisions, optimize the full shopping journey, and deliver measurable business outcomes.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead the development and execution of in-market digital media strategy across programmatic, search, social, and endemic channels, with a focus on driving qualified traffic and conversion.

Integrate Tier 2 dealer media into a unified performance framework, ensuring regional activations are strategically aligned with national efforts and optimized for local impact.

Analyze Kia.com behavior and 1st-party data to identify high-value user actions and inform targeting, messaging, and media optimization strategies.

Build and maintain full-funnel measurement frameworks that connect media exposure to shopping behavior and purchase intent.

Partner with analytics and data science teams to develop dashboards that visualize the complete consumer journey and enable real-time performance optimization.

Collaborate with Digital Strategy to activate 1st-party data and test new performance tactics, platforms, and measurement models.

Serve as the strategic liaison to regional and dealer teams, aligning on KPIs, sharing insights, and ensuring local media contributes to national business outcomes.

Translate performance data into actionable insights and strategic narratives that inform planning, investment decisions, and client storytelling.

IDEAL PROFILE

8–10+ years in performance media, digital strategy, or integrated planning roles with a focus on lower-funnel outcomes.

Proven experience managing Tier 2 or regional media programs and integrating them into national strategies.

Strong analytical mindset with expertise in 1st-party data, behavioral insights, and performance dashboards.

Skilled in cross-functional leadership and client communication.

Comfortable owning business outcomes and translating media performance into strategic impact.

Salary range: $158,000 to $168,000

Pay is dependent upon several factors including but not limited to: years of experience, client, training, and transferable skills.
