What you'll do As a Lead Software Engineer on the CLM team, you are responsible for designing, building and maintaining key features that are integral to our customers and business. You are a hands-on technical expert who will guide and contribute to our development and operations teams to improve the creation of infrastructure solutions that scale with our rapid growth. You are a successful lead engineer with a flexible attitude and a drive to learn and share. You will write quality, scalable code and guide the team to make the right decisions. You enjoy working in a fast-paced agile environment, care about the team’s decisions, and focus on quality-driven development. You are interested in helping build a complex cloud ecosystem with focus on scale and availability. This is an individual contributor role reporting to Sr. Manager, Software Engineering. Responsibilities Write high quality code in C# .Net and other object-oriented languages that is easy to maintain and test Advocate best practices for strategic and architectural direction Participate in an Agile environment using Scrum, automated testing, CI, code reviews, version control, and automated build processes Lead requirement reviews and proactively raise issues that might impact delivery commitments Be an expert at handling complex incidents and alerts spanning multiple teams and domains Identify, assess, plan, and mitigate proactive risks Coach the team on development and testing best practices and provide growth opportunities to junior members Articulate clear software engineering strategies, plans, goals, and objectives across multiple engineering domains and teams What you bring Basic BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience 12+ years of software engineering experience Experience with C#, Java, C++, or Go Experience with SQL, Cassandra, CosmosDB Preferred Experience developing software solutions using OO methodologies and design patterns Knowledge of high-scale, highly available systems (99.99+) 5+ years building complex, scalable applications Experience with public cloud (Azure or AWS) Curiosity and ability to learn new technologies Experience with Microsoft tech stack (C#, .NET), XML, JSON, NoSQL Experience with front-end technologies (React, TypeScript, Angular) Experience driving strategic code sharing and architecture for one or more functional areas Job Details Employment type : Full-time Hybrid : In-office and remote work with in-office requirement (minimum 2 days per week; varies by team).
