About the Role
The Company is seeking an SVP of Accounting to join its dynamic finance leadership team. The successful candidate will be a strategic partner, providing oversight and direction for all US accounting operations, financial reporting, and compliance. This executive will play a key role in supporting the company's growth in a multi-country environment, ensuring financial integrity, and leading large, complex, multinational accounting operations. Responsibilities include serving as a key advisor on accounting implications of business strategies, driving continuous improvement in accounting processes, and optimizing cross-functional processes. The role also involves overseeing financial reporting under U.S. GAAP and international standards, maintaining compliance with regulatory standards, and leading a high-performing global accounting team.
Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, a CPA designation, and a minimum of 20 years' progressive accounting leadership experience. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing global accounting functions, deep expertise in U.S. GAAP and international accounting standards, and experience in leading accounting transformation initiatives. Strong executive presence, communication skills, and the ability to influence across functions and geographies are essential. Preferred qualifications include an MBA, experience with ERP transformations, particularly SAP, and a background in mergers and acquisitions. The role requires a leader who can mentor and develop the accounting team, fostering a culture of accountability, accuracy, and continuous improvement.
