About the Role
The company is in search of an SVP of Global Accounting to join its dynamic finance leadership team. You will be a strategic partner overseeing US accounting operations, financial reporting, and compliance. This is a pivotal role in supporting the company’s growth across multiple countries while ensuring financial integrity and leading large, complex accounting operations. You will provide key advisory on the accounting implications of business strategies, drive continuous improvements in accounting processes, and optimize cross-functional operations. Responsibilities also include managing financial reporting under U.S. GAAP and international standards, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and leading a high-performing global accounting team.
The ideal candidate will possess:
A Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
A CPA designation
A minimum of 20 years of progressive accounting leadership experience
A proven track record in managing global accounting functions
Deep expertise in U.S. GAAP and international accounting standards
Experience leading accounting transformation initiatives
Key Qualifications:
Strong executive presence and excellent communication skills
Ability to influence across functions and geographies
An MBA and experience with ERP transformations, particularly SAP, is preferred
A background in mergers and acquisitions is a plus
