Infrastructure Architect

will play a pivotal role in designing, managing, and delivering enterprise infrastructure services across

data centers, cloud platforms, and automation environments . This role involves mentoring engineering teams, setting roadmaps, and ensuring infrastructure solutions meet evolving business and compliance requirements. Key projects include

data center decommissioning, new colocation builds, a VDI platform refresh, Azure initiatives, and BAU operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and mentor Intermediate and Senior Infrastructure Engineers. Develop and manage the infrastructure roadmap aligned with strategic business goals. Design, implement, and manage infrastructure services across

colocation (Equinix) data centers, cloud, virtualization, and storage. Oversee disaster recovery planning, service continuity, and capacity management. Drive adoption of cloud technologies (Azure, AVS, Azure DevOps) and hybrid cloud integration. Automate processes with

Ansible, Terraform, and related tools . Ensure compliance with

security standards, privacy regulations, and DR policies . Evaluate and recommend new technologies to improve efficiency and scalability. Maintain roadmaps, design docs, runbooks, and operational guides. Partner with cross-functional teams (App Operations, IT Asset Mgmt, End User Tech) to align solutions with requirements. Required Experience:

10+ years in

infrastructure architecture, design, and management

(data centers, cloud, automation). 5+ years mentoring technical teams. Strong experience with

Azure (native & AVS), Azure DevOps, hybrid cloud solutions. 5+ years with

VMware stack : vSphere, vCenter, VCF, VxRail, NSX-T, HCX, vSAN, Horizon, VDI. Active Directory administration, group policy, and security management. Windows/Linux server lifecycle management (patching, hardening, compliance). EMC/DELL storage, backup/recovery with Commvault or Rubrik. Disaster recovery strategy and continuity planning. Colocation data center (Equinix) architecture, capacity planning, and operations. Nice-to-Have Experience:

Certifications: VMware, Microsoft, EMC Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900)
