IT Administrative Coordinator

(Atlanta, Full-time, Hybrid)

Fisher Phillips, a premier international labor and employment law firm, is seeking an IT Administrative Coordinator to join a dynamic, forward-thinking IT team that values innovation, collaboration, and client-focused solutions.

The IT Administrative Coordinator provides professional support to the Chief Information Officer (CIO) and, as available, to IT Directors. This role improves operational efficiency by coordinating leadership activities, tracking commitments, preparing materials, and facilitating smooth execution for meetings, communications, and initiatives. The position requires a proactive, detail-oriented individual with strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Presentation & Communication Support Create, edit and format presentations, reports, and briefing materials for internal and external audiences. Draft correspondence, announcements, and meeting summaries as requested by IT leadership. Maintain consistent and professional communication standards. Project & Initiative Coordination

Assist with progress tracking for major IT initiatives, including preparation for checkpoints, deadlines, and presentations. Coordinate recurring review processes (e.g., quarterly updates, metrics dashboards, governance reviews) across IT functions. Administrative Support

Provide structured administrative support to the CIO, ensuring priorities, schedules, and key activities are effectively managed. Coordinate and monitor calendars, deadlines, and recurring commitments to keep IT leadership aligned and prepared. Organize and prepare agendas, materials, and logistics for IT leadership meetings, capturing follow-ups and ensuring accountability. Assist with annual planning, budgeting, and reporting cycles by coordinating deliverables, timelines, and supporting documentation. General Operational Support

Support the CIO by triaging and coordinating incoming requests, maintaining alignment across IT leadership. Assist with preparation of materials for security audits, client assessments, and firm governance processes, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery. Maintain and organize shared IT leadership resources such as documentation repositories, and Teams/SharePoint spaces. Support department-wide events, training sessions, and leadership meetings through logistics, materials preparation, and follow-through. Provide flexible support during peak periods across IT functions, including vendor communications, audit responses, client requests, and project coordination. Requirements

Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent experience in a professional administration position. 3+ years' experience supporting senior leaders or teams in a professional services, law firm, or corporate IT environment. Strong organizational, planning, and multitasking skills with high attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with Teams, SharePoint, and scheduling tools preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to prepare polished materials for executive audiences. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism. Proactive, resourceful, and adaptable in managing competing priorities.
