The Danfoss Power Solutions, Customer Service team in Van Wert, OH is seeking a Customer Service Representative to manage and develop the order fulfillment process. If you have broad knowledge of customer service, order management and supporting systems and processes, and want to work in a participative environment and be an active supporter for a positive team atmosphere, we would like to meet you. The Customer Service Representative will work daily out of the Van Wert, OH facility and report to the Customer Service Manager. Relocation and support for work authorization cannot be provided.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Create Customer Request Notification (CRN) in ONE CRM (Sales Force).
• Serve as primary order contact for the customer providing timely communication and support.
• Proactively communicate relevant order issues with customers and investigate claims for returned products related to Order Management issues.
• Monitor EDI errors and work to fix the errors to process the electronic order (IDOC) in Danfoss systems.
• Create new orders related to EDI scheduling agreements.
• Support handling and the resolution of credit and cash collection issues internally (Finance and BUs) and communication with customers.
• Virtually attend, support and lead customer meetings.
• Manage order changes with customers and internal BUs and ensure systems are updated.
• Coordinate with key stakeholders to address orders that do not fit current production plans, negotiating win-win solutions whenever possible.

What We're Looking For

• HS Diploma or GED required. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a customer service role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with a warehouse management system or similar database is required. Knowledge of SAP, P01, SRP100 is strongly preferred.
• Strong independent decision-making ability.
• Ability to work in a cross-cultural, diverse environment in a matrix communication environment.
• Motivated and self-driven.
• Willing to travel once a year to visit and work at another Danfoss site.
