Position Summary

The Salesforce Data & Reporting Analyst is responsible for creating and managing reports and dashboards, supporting data imports and updates, and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of information within Salesforce. This role bridges the business need for insights with the technical execution of data management, empowering teams to make informed decisions. The Analyst will report directly to the Director of Operational Technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain Salesforce reports and dashboards tailored to business needs.
  • Support data management activities, including importing, updating, and cleansing Salesforce data.
  • Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of Salesforce data across objects and fields.
  • Work with stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and translate them into actionable insights.
  • Analyze Salesforce data to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
  • Partner with Salesforce administrators and developers to support data governance and reporting best practices.
  • Provide ad-hoc reporting and data support for business units as needed.
  • Train and support end-users in understanding and leveraging Salesforce reports and dashboards.
  • Monitor data quality and develop procedures to maintain ongoing integrity of the CRM system.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • 2–4 years of experience in data analysis, reporting, or CRM-related roles.
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce reporting and dashboards.
  • Strong proficiency with Excel (pivot tables, formulas) or similar data tools.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
  • Strong communication skills with ability to explain data insights to non-technical audiences.
  • Must have an inherent ability to “tell the story” with data and a creative knack to provide the story in a digestible manner for all to comprehend.

Preferred:

  • Experience with Salesforce data loader or third-party data import tools.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce data architecture (objects, relationships, fields).
  • Experience with SQL or BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.).
  • Salesforce Administrator certification (ADM 201) or equivalent.
