Responsibilities

Program custom automation systems at the facility and at customer sites, with onsite commissioning of robotic cells to ensure they operate seamlessly. Develop comprehensive documentation and operation manuals to support solutions. Provide training and production support to customers after runoff completion to foster long-term relationships. Service and repair robotic systems, including filling out field service reports to maintain transparency and efficiency. Collaborate with teams to deliver high-quality automation projects in the machinery industry.

Qualifications

Minimum 5-10 years of advanced programming with Fanuc robots in material handling processes. Experience with ABB, Motoman, and UR robotics is advantageous. Proficiency in offline programming using FANUC Roboguide and familiarity with vision processes utilizing FANUC iRVision. Knowledge of Cognex, Keyence, or other vision systems is a plus. Programming languages such as KAREL (UNIX), Basic, or C++ are beneficial. Ability to create HMI screens on robot teach pendants and interface with machine tools and peripheral equipment. Solid understanding of mechanical, fluid power, and electrical principles; familiarity with Ethernet/IP and Profibus. Strong troubleshooting skills and excellent customer service abilities.
