Designs, develops, documents, tests and debugs application software. Conducts analysis and collaborates with subject matter experts in the planning, design, development, and utilization of electronic data processing systems for information storage, processing, presentation, manipulation, display, or reporting. End product may be special use, customized, or commercial software. Determines computer user needs; analyzes system capabilities to resolve problems on program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques and controls; prepares operating instructions; designs and develops autonomous services, desktop applications, web applications, scripts, and utility programs. Ensures software standards are met for material at multiple locations. Qualifications

Bachelors and five (5) years or more experience; years of experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree. Software Knowledge C# .NET, Git, Azure DevOps, Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio, Visual Studio. An understanding of Relational Databases and SQL. Ability to modernize technical debt (convert old Winforms into WebServices). Strong concepts of MVVM/MVC, Interfaces, and writing Unit Testing. Candidate must be a US Citizen. Must have an active SECRET security clearance. Desired Experience

Software Knowledge Visual Basic, Microsoft Access, Excel. Ability to read and/or generate Use Cases or SRS documentation. Basic understanding of Stored Procedures to translate to software. Basic understanding of database restore. GUI Winforms, WPF, TypeScript with REACT/REDUX, ASP.NET. EW Knowledge. An understanding of SQL datatypes. Complex dynamic SQL queries crossing several databases. BCP and Extract Transform and Load (ETL). Strong communication skills. Ability to work in a team environment. Knowledge of Agile Development Process. Kanban. Scrum (Sprints). Understanding of tree structures.
