Construction Laborer

We are seeking dedicated site laborers to join an environmental construction team. You will work in crews ranging from 4-5 or 10-15 members. This role requires excellent physical condition and endurance, as you will frequently push, pull, and lift over 50 lbs. This role will take place at a landfill so being comfortable in the environment is key. You will be assisting operators on a daily basis and working in all aspects of the site including the weigh station, in the water trucks, etc. This position will pay $25 - $32 based on experience. We are looking to hire as soon as possible.

Responsibilities

• Perform general labor tasks related to environmental construction.
• Participate in environmental cleanup and remediation activities.
• Operate machinery such as street sweepers, rock trucks, rollers, and water trucks.
• Assist in utility construction projects.
• Travel within New England when necessary.

Essential Skills

• 3-10 years of experience in utility construction or environmental work.
• OSHA 10 Hour certification.
• Strong physical condition and endurance.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• 40 Hour HAZWOPER training is preferred.
• Valid license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work aloft and in tight quarters.

Work Environment

Work on diverse projects, including environmental remediation, demolition, excavation, dredging, utility work, and landfill cap and closures. The job involves long hours on your feet and requires working in various weather conditions, from extreme heat to cold.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Everett, Massachusetts.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
