About the RoleAs a teacher at Uncommon Schools, you will play a pivotal role in implementing our curriculum and ensuring the success of our students. We are looking for passionate educators who are committed to continuous improvement and collaboration within their school community.
Your Responsibilities- Implement engaging curricula and activities that meet our high academic standards.
- Analyze assessments to track student progress and tailor instructional practices accordingly.
- Focus on student learning, thinking critically and strategically to meet their needs.
- Create a positive, structured learning environment that reflects our core values and expectations.
- Communicate effectively with students, families, and colleagues.
- Commit to your professional growth through our annual three-week staff orientation and ongoing training.
- Participate in grade-level activities and school-wide functions throughout the year.
Strong candidates for all teaching roles (new and experienced) will possess:

- A proven track record of high achievement in the classroom.
- A minimum of two years of teaching experience in an urban public or charter school setting is preferred.
- Valid State Certification and a Master’s degree are helpful but not required.
- A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university before employment begins.
- A cumulative GPA of 2.75 or higher by the time employment begins.

CompensationThe salary for this role ranges from $50,000 to $64,700. Starting pay is determined by various factors, including relevant teaching experience and education certifications.
