Maintenance Electrician
As a Maintenance Electrician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of machinery and equipment through routine and preventative maintenance. You will diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues, assist in the installation of new equipment, and maintain accurate maintenance records.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and prevent breakdowns.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to extend equipment lifespan and reduce failures.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues, and perform necessary repairs to minimize downtime.
- Assist in the installation and setup of new machinery and equipment, ensuring proper operation and safety compliance.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance in conformance with auditing standards.
- Navigate, maintain, and improve Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) processes.
- Work closely with production and engineering teams to identify and resolve equipment-related issues and improve overall efficiency.
- Conduct all work in accordance with lean manufacturing principles and processes.
Essential Skills
- Electrical troubleshooting, including 480v systems.
- Ability to read electrical schematics.
- PLC troubleshooting, including reading inputs/outputs.
- Experience with 3 phase motors, AC/DC motors, and VFDs.
- Strong understanding of pneumatics, mechanical, and hydraulics.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in industrial maintenance.
- Mechanical troubleshooting, including hydraulics and pneumatics.
- Repair of gear boxes, bearings, and chain-driven conveyors.

Work Environment
The position is based in an automotive manufacturing environment where tools are provided. The schedule includes a shift from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM, with three days on, four days off, followed by four days on, four days off. An annual fit test is required, and a clean-shaven appearance is necessary.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $72800.00 - $87360.00/yr.
