Pay: $32 - 36/Hr - Shift/Hours: Monday–Friday, 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM
As a Electrician, you'll perform inspection, repair, and maintenance of electrical and mechanical systems across assigned facilities. You'll begin your day with team coordination and end with solo assignments involving light troubleshooting and work order execution. This role is essential in ensuring equipment functionality and building infrastructure reliability.
- Inspect, diagnose, and resolve electrical system issues in a commercial environment.
- Replace ballasts, resolve power issues, and perform other routine electrical tasks.
- Interpret and work from wiring diagrams.
- Execute lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures according to safety standards.
- Access and manage daily assignments via work order systems.
- Occasionally, complete work independently following team assignments.
- Maintain basic documentation and reporting through Excel and email.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience as an electrician.
- Experience working in a team-oriented commercial environment.
- Experience using Microsoft Excel and Outlook for reports and email.
- Project tracking or completion reporting.
- California Certified Electrician
- Ability to read and apply wire diagrams
- Competence in lockout/tagout procedures
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office
- Basic CMMS system knowledge
- Comfortable handling digital reports and communications
- Experience working with electrical teams
- Use of work trucks
- General facility electrical maintenance
- CMMS system interaction
