Robert Half is searching for an IT Engineer who can support a manufacturing company based in Camas, WA. This IT Engineer will be responsible for handling device management, network and system support. This position is 100% Onsite and located in Camas, WA. Apply today!

 

Job Details

Duration: 6 months to hire

Location: 100% Onsite Camas, WA

Schedule: Monday - Friday 8-5PM PST


Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and troubleshoot network infrastructure including routing, switching, and network
  • segmentation.
  • Support networking protocols (TCP/IP, IPSec) and configure VLANs.
  • Configure and maintain firewalls, switches, and wireless access points.
  • Configure and maintain site-to-site VPNs and remote access solutions.
  • Monitor network performance, analyze bandwidth usage, and resolve connectivity issues.
  • Perform network documentation including topology diagrams and IP address management.
  • Maintain DNS and DHCP services.
  • Maintain Active Directory, Group Policy, and NTFS permissions.
  • Manage storage provisioning, file systems, and permissions across on-premises and cloud platforms.
  • Provide technical support for global end-user systems including Windows 10/11 OS, Office and other
  • productivity apps, printers, VPN, and mobile devices (iOS).
  • Manage device deployments, repairs, user onboarding/offboarding, and equipment setup in office,
  • manufacturing, and remote environments.
  • Cloud & Microsoft 365 Ecosystem
  • Administer Microsoft 365, Azure, Entra ID, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, and other related
  • systems.
  • Manage user accounts, groups, licenses, and mobile device management through Microsoft Intune.
  • Support hybrid identity configurations and domain migration projects.
  • Security & Server Administration
  • Monitor Darktrace IDS/IPS, respond to security incidents, and enforce security best practices.
  • Administer Windows Server (2016–2022), Hyper-V virtualization in a highly available clustered environment,
  • and Veeam backup systems.
  • Maintain compliance with security policies and assist with audits and patching
  • Associate's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of IT infrastructure and support experience in an enterprise environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365, Azure, Intune, Entra ID, Active Directory, and strong networking skills.
  • Strong understanding of OSI model, subnetting, and network troubleshooting methodologies.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and professional communication abilities.
