Warehouse Associate schedules are identified below. Warehouse Associates are hired into one of the schedules.

Options

• 1 Day: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday — Start 7:00 AM – End 5:30 PM
• 2 Day: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday — Start 7:00 AM – End 5:30 PM
• 3 Night: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday — Start 5:30 PM – 4:00 AM
• 4 Night: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday — Start 8:00 PM – End 6:30 AM

Actual schedules available may vary based on site needs.

Responsibilities

• Receiving — unload trailers with proper safety gear (glad hand locks, wheel chocks); assist FSQA and receivers with pallet breakdown and transport to storage; place received goods into correct storage; ensure FIFO and correct temperature storage; notify leadership of mislocated products; create space for inbound loads; keep storage pods debris-free.
• Replenishing — set up floor for decanting and shipping lines; ensure packaging materials are ready for box team and lines; pre-produce material according to production counts; respond to production material needs; move items as needed for production, warehouse, sanitation, or FSQA; verify area is stocked before breaks and return unused material to home location; ensure pallets are front-faced, leveled, and plastic removed; organize assigned storage areas.
• Shipping — check trailers for trash or pallets; apply glad hand locks and wheel chocks; load trucks per load diagram (full load 26 pallets); seal trailers and record load serial numbers; submit paperwork to leadership.
• Support other Warehouse functions — collaborate with teammates to complete tasks and support other departments as needed.
• General Responsibilities — follow safety procedures, perform pre-shift equipment checks and wear PPE; follow GMPs; sign for equipment and return it at shift end; support SQF/quality programs; maintain professional conduct.

Qualifications

• General high school degree or equivalent (GED required).
• Willing to learn to operate equipment such as manual/electric pallet jacks and handheld scanners.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds with/without reasonable accommodation.
• Must have floor presence; stand/walk for up to 10–12 hours.
• Previous warehouse experience preferred.

Home Chef offers a base salary range; compensation depends on location, experience, skills, and internal equity. Maryland Pay Range: $19.75. The offer may include a comprehensive benefits package including health coverage, 401k match, and paid time off.
