Overview

Business Analyst role at Kanak Elite Services. Location: Reston, VA (Hybrid 3 Days onsite). Duration: 04+ Months. Preferred Local Candidates from Virginia or Maryland.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze business requirements.
• Translate business needs into clear and concise functional specifications and user stories.
• Work closely with development and QA teams to ensure requirements are understood and implemented correctly.
• Design and execute UAT test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on business requirements.
• Coordinate and facilitate UAT sessions with business users, ensuring thorough testing and issue resolution.
• Track and report UAT progress, defects, and outcomes to stakeholders.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and contribute to solution design.
• Support post-implementation reviews and ensure business objectives are met.

Qualifications

• Bachelor\'s degree.
• 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, with at least 2 years in UAT coordination and execution.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
• Experience with UAT tools and defect tracking systems.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Skills

• Working knowledge of SQL is an added advantage.
