Job Responsibilities

Provides social work services to patients, their families, and/or significant others through counseling, emotional support, environmental needs assistance, crisis intervention, and group leadership.

Minimum Qualifications

• Education, Certification, and/or Licensure:
• For West Virginia: Master's Degree in Social Work or related field; Licensed Graduate Social Worker (LGSW), Licensed Certified Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) through West Virginia Board of Social Work.
• For Ohio: Master's Degree in Social Work or related; Licensed Social Worker (LSW), Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW), or Licensed Independent Social Worker-Supervision (LISW-S) through Ohio Board.
• For Maryland: Master's Degree in Social Work or related; Licensed Graduate Social Worker (LGSW), Licensed Certified Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Certified Social Worker-Clinical (LISW-C) through Maryland Board.
• For Pennsylvania: Master's Degree in Social Work or related.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification in Case Management.
• For Pennsylvania: Licensed Social Worker or Licensed Clinical Social Worker through Pennsylvania Department of State.
• Experience: Two (2) years' social work experience.

Core Duties and Responsibilities

Provide psychosocial assessments, participate in interdisciplinary teams, develop and implement treatment plans, screen and educate patients, provide therapy, consult with healthcare team members, participate in discharge planning, liaise with community resources, facilitate group therapy, document interactions, and maintain records.

Physical and Work Environment

Prolonged standing or sitting; flexible hours including weekends and holidays; work in inpatient settings with accommodations as needed.

Skills and Abilities

• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate with healthcare professionals.
• Basic computer skills.

Additional Information

Scheduled weekly hours: 40. Shift: Exempt. Location: PVH Neuro Behavioral Health, 100 Pin Oak Lane, Keyser, West Virginia. Equal Opportunity Employer.
