Position Overview

This full-time traveling position supports Data Center and EV projects across the United States, reporting to our Global Critical Facilities (TECH) vertical. Prior experience in data centers or advanced technology projects is strongly preferred. Position Description

Manage end-to-end Commissioning processes and delivery of new or retrofit facilities to meet contract requirements and verify operations in accordance with owners' project requirements. Develop site-specific commissioning activities integrated into the Quality Control plan. Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Manage commissioning activities during Levels 1 through 5 for new or retrofit facilities. Establish collaborative relationships with architects, engineers, trade partners, and operations teams to ensure compliant project delivery. Implement policies supporting project schedule, contractual obligations, and compliance. Coordinate with QC and MEP teams to ensure successful completion of checklists, documents, and activities. Understand major milestones, contractual obligations, and commissioning plans. Manage commissioning and QC plans per contractual turnovers. Define and manage on-site resource requirements. Create and integrate start-up and commissioning schedules into the overall project schedule. Collaborate with OFCI equipment vendors for installations and provide feedback. Manage equipment adherence to QC plans and ensure documentation quality. Facilitate meetings to communicate QC plans and schedule updates. Contribute to development of QC plans and online equipment databases. Oversee development of quality dashboards and review weekly trends. Develop understanding of project-specific contract documents. Support pre-installation meetings and communicate scope expectations. Establish punch list prevention and manage deficiencies. Arrange for third-party testing and inspections, analyzing results. Participate in onboarding of project staff, trade partners, and vendors. Perform delivery inspections of OFCI & CFCI equipment to ensure compliance. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree with minimum 12 years of construction experience in roles such as MEP Engineer or Superintendent, including Professional Engineering and trade-specific work. At least 5 years of commissioning experience bridging field and engineering responsibilities. Knowledge of MEP systems, construction processes, and quality management; USACE certification is a plus. Desired: ASHRAE Commissioning certification and understanding of data center commissioning levels. Experience with Building Management Systems and interpreting contract documents. Willingness to travel. Physical Demands

Frequent sitting, handling objects, reaching, talking, hearing, and computer use. Ability to climb stairs, ladders, and negotiate construction sites. Ability to lift up to 45 pounds occasionally. Work Environment
