Essential Job Functions: Develops Statements of Work (SOW) and determines material requirements/bills of material Surveys work sites, creates plan drawings, inspects materials received, and assists in final inspections Coordinates and schedules subcontractor walkthroughs and receives bids/quotes Ability to provide detailed estimates using S. Means estimating procedures Coordinates with functional shops to obtain material, supply, and equipment estimates to develop purchase requests, and track progress and accuracy through work order completion Provides updates to Master Tracking spreadsheet to include percentage of work complete, estimated material delivery dates, need for Period of Performance (PoP) extensions, and general status Assists in project closeout by coordinating with the Government customer for acceptance and project sign-off Education/Training: A high school, associate's, or bachelor's degree is preferred. Trade school in construction discipline is a plus. Experience: 3+ years practical estimating experience Possess strong written and verbal communication skills. Effective management skills and customer relations experience Microsoft Suite experience Possess knowledge of Microsoft Office products Work Environment: Limited physical accommodations This role requires work in office and non-office settings such as machinery rooms, electrical distribution centers, server rooms, and industrial locations. Work requires exposure to heat/cold, noise, dust, mist, and/or Requires the ability to climb ladders and work at It requires wearing personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, fall protection harness, protective-toe footwear, gloves, hard hat, and hearing protection. Work hazards include electrical shock, confined spaces, and noise This is an Onsite position that requires work to be performed onsite at an Aleut location. Special Requirements: Valid driver's license in the state of employment with an acceptable driving record Ability to pass a pre-employment background screening and drug test. Must complete all mandated training requirements per government and management directives. Must be able to obtain a favorable National Agency Check (NAC) per contract. Must be proficient in the English Language per contract.
