As a Business Banking Remote Coverage Leader, you will be responsible for leading a team dedicated to supporting our clients and prospective clients in a remote environment. This position and the broader team are expected to provide a full range of banking services with an emphasis on loan and deposit business products, aiming to earn 100% of the client's relationship, including all partners and offerings of the Bank. You will proactively call on clients, prospects, and referral sources to ensure maximum results. Results include acquiring, expanding, and retaining business banking relationships, with a focus on deposit, treasury, and business lending growth. Participating in community and business functions is important to promote a positive image for the bank and establish referral contacts within the community. You will achieve specific sales and service goals individually and lead the banking centers goals quarterly and annually. You will work with staff to develop and implement goals to improve the banks competitive position. Additionally, the Business Banking Remote Coverage Leader is expected to review, analyze, and structure business loans critically. You will monitor loan portfolio performance by maintaining contact with borrowers and resolving issues as needed. Promoting the Bank's image through community involvement and identifying market trends to provide opportunities for clients are also key responsibilities. You will create, train, and coach a sales team to serve clients' total financial needs, increasing market share, wallet share, and profitability. Managing relationships with business partners for cross-sales and ensuring service quality to maintain client satisfaction are essential. The leader will oversee an assigned team responsible for originating, processing, and executing SBA loans centrally. Managing intermediary or "Broker" relationships to facilitate SBA loan referrals is part of the role. The team will also work with banking partners to process SBA loans efficiently. You will be responsible for the credit quality and performance of the portfolio and work with partners across the bank to ensure a relationship approach based on common sense principles. Minimum Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or equivalent experience 3+ years of successful commercial or small business lending 5+ years of banking experience 5+ years of business-to-business development experience Desired Skills: At least 5 years of successful commercial or small business lending At least 5 years of banking experience Completion of a bank training or formal credit-training program Work Environment: We value our associates and support their growth within the company Physical tasks may include grasping, pushing, pulling, lifting, bending, and holding Overtime may be required, typically up to 5% Flexible scheduling with remote work options as needed Benefits: We offer a comprehensive benefits package including insurance, 401k, stock purchase program, paid time off, and banking perks.
