The job includes but is not limited to: Manage a team of Sortation Associates in performing the sortation process -Overseeing the operations facility Stationing associates within the correct spots in the warehouse Pulling in night reports Unloading trucks Working independently or in a team to pick, pack, and ship items Using hand tools to assemble warehouse material handling equipment Safely relocating or repacking inventory items as directed, up to 50 pounds in weight Operating machinery or other light equipment (e.g. pallet jacks) as trained in a safe and responsible manner -Reaching, crouching, bending over, and other physically strenuous activities as required by the leadership team preferably have forklift experience. ( electric pallet jack experience as well ) Will have to unload trucks, sign and post BOL's to linehauls channel Expected to learn all parts of operation to get a better understanding of the entire operation in a whole Wo;; be required to train and coach other associates - leadership skills a MUST Will be responsible for handing out and collecting devices used for the operation Pays attention to detail. Respond to slack channels, send emails and communicate with our tech team on a daily basis. Will be responsible for completing hourly throughput in Google sheets and also completing end of shift reports.
***General Requirements*** When working in a warehouse environment through Bluecrew, you may be expected to do any and all of the following: Working independently or in a team to pick, pack, and ship items Safely relocating or repacking inventory items as directed, up to 50 pounds in weight Operating machinery or other light equipment as trained in a safe and responsible manner Reaching, crouching, bending over, and other physically strenuous activities as required by the immediate supervisor Working on your feet at a fast pace for the entirety of the shift Comfortable working in an environment where there are forklifts, machinery, large trucks, and other standard or sub-standard warehouse equipment There may be a specific dress code, but if it is not listed, please make sure to wear close-toed shoes and pants.
