Schedule Details:
Weds, Thurs, Fri: 9:00pm - 1:00am
Saturday: 1:30pm - 6:30pm
Sunday: 2:00pm - 6:00pm
Primary Responsibilities: Values: Commit to work in accordance with the Jitsu values of Passion, Sustainability, Humility, Gratitude, and Integrity. Safety: Train and enforce company safety standards with hourly associates. Ensure all Sortation Associates are utilizing required personal protective equipment (PPE) and working in compliance with company safety standards. Perform a safety briefing at the start of each shift. Team Leadership: Lead, train, and mentor a team of Sortation Associates performing the sortation process. Ensure associates adhere to the company sortation process SOPs, and coach associates in order to achieve company safety, speed, cost, and quality standards for the sortation process. Provide feedback on associates performance to the Sortation/Operations Supervisor, with a focus on retaining and developing associates who consistently exceed company work performance standards. Sortation: Lead the company's sortation process in accordance with SOPs. Perform and document hourly sortation PPH & quality audits in accordance with company SOPs, and coach associates who have mislabeled or mis-sorted packages. Prevent and, if necessary, correct errors during the sortation process to ensure sortation errors do not impact the outbound/delivery processes. Ensure all sortation equipment is in good working order and sufficient supplies are available before the start of a sortation shift (scanners, label printers, pallet jacks, pallets, conveyors, etc.). Review Bills of Lading (BOLs) to ensure that the sortation solution is still applicable in case of shortages/overages vs. forecasted volume.
Check the sortation pod layout before the start of the shift and ensure that pallets, totes, etc. are available according to the needs of the sortation solution. - Lead the team of associates in performing the sortation process, including sorting, scanning, and arranging packages during the sortation shift. Ensure associates are fully engaged in the sortation process and manage clock-ins, clock-outs, and breaks in accordance with HR and legal guidelines. - Proactively identify un-routed, redelivered, failed, etc. packages and re-route them and/or communicate with the Technology team to request re-routing. - Assist in warehouse housekeeping: supply room organization, trash disposal, restroom maintenance, etc. as required. - Performs other duties as assigned. - Punctuality is imperative, must be on time. - Must be able to flex schedules throughout the week, if needed. - Overseeing the operations facility - Stationing associates within the correct spots in the warehouse - Pulling in night reports - Unloading trucks - Working independently or in a team to pick, pack, and ship items - Using hand tools to assemble warehouse material handling equipment - Safely relocating or repacking inventory items as directed, up to 50 pounds in weight - Operating machinery or other light equipment (e.g. pallet jacks) as trained in a safe and responsible manner - Reaching, crouching, bending over, and other physically strenuous activities as required by the leadership team Position Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent. At least two years related experience required (transportation, warehousing, logistics). Strong supervisory and leadership skills, with the ability to train and motivate a team of hourly personnel. Excellent verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact with diverse audiences. Excellent written communication skills are a strong plus. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. Proficient with Google Drive, Slack, and related operations software. OSHA Forklift Operator certification is a strong plus. Previous leadership experience required Forklift certification/experience required Must have effective communication skills Good attitude and strong team player Comfortable woorking in cold storage environment

Some jobs may require safety (steel-toed) boots If you have your certification, please be sure to bring it with you
