United's Network Operations team is made up of diverse, driven individuals working together to Connect People and Unite the World. From operational leadership and planning to safety procedures, our Human Factors team provides the innovative approaches, tools, training, and guidance needed for our Network Operations employees to be the best in their area of responsibility, and aid in our mission to become the best airline in the history of aviation. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with the routers to understand and support their operations. Learn the operational processes to help establish and standardize best practices. Assist in developing tools such as scorecards to measure and track performance. Analyze and evaluate the success of various initiatives to provide actionable insights. This internship is designed solely to provide you with skill development and valuable work experience. This role will likely not convert to a full-time position at United at the conclusion of the internship. Qualifications: What's needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications): Proficiency in Excel Proficiency in SQL Passion for aviation Strong technical writing skills What will help you propel from the pack (Preferred Qualifications): Experience with Palantir United Airlines is an equal opportunity employer.
