Job Summary:

We are seeking a caring, energetic, and experienced Preschool Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will support the developmental needs of children ages 35 by creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment. This role involves lesson planning, classroom management, and adherence to Mississippi State Department of Health (MSDH) childcare regulations.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that support early childhood learning goals.
  • Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that fosters social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
  • Maintain regular communication with parents about their childs progress and daily activities.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all children at all times.
  • Observe, document, and assess each childs development to inform instruction.
  • Comply with all MSDH licensing requirements and center policies.
  • Keep the classroom clean, organized, and stimulating for young learners.
  • Work collaboratively with other teachers and staff to support a cohesive teaching team.


Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED (required).
  • CDA (Child Development Associate) credential, Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education, or equivalent (preferred; required for lead teacher roles).
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a licensed childcare or preschool setting (preferred).
  • Must pass an MSDH-required background check and health screening.
  • CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
  • Strong communication, organizational, and classroom management skills.
