Job Summary and Qualifications

This is a Full Time position, Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm with some weekends as needed

• Masters Degree in Social Work required


• Certified Social Worker (CSW) State of Louisiana required


• Certification in Case Management preferred


• Acute care social work experience preferred


• Must obtain LMSW within 3-year issuance of the original CSW certification per Louisiana Board of Social Workers


• Knowledgeable about internal, community and post-acute care resources


• Basic social worker skills including empathy, sensitivity to cultural and ethnic diversity, advocacy, communication and crisis intervention
