We are growing rapidly and are looking for an ambitious Commercial Associate to join us in building our GTM function. The Role You’ll be the driving force for Encord’s future growth, learning how to take a product to market and build a GTM function from scratch to $millions in ARR by actually doing it. You\'ll Spend Your Time On Two Core Streams Deal sourcing — strategically identifying, prospecting and qualifying prospective customers. You\'ll own messaging for different geographies and sectors, build and manage outreach campaigns, and set the foundations to train new joiners. Deal execution — manage the sales pipeline, help close deals, and, as soon as you\'re ready, own deals from sourcing to close and contribute to revenue targets. About You You\'re ambitious, competitive, and highly motivated to grow. You are ready to roll up your sleeves and take ownership, with a willingness to do what\'s required. You are entrepreneurial and want to help build a business. You have strong commercial intuition, the ability to build rapport, influence stakeholders, and drive change, including at senior levels (eg. CTOs). You want to become exceptional at sales and seek a growth-focused environment to develop into a future leader. You have a track record of high performance in relevant environments (academia, business, sport, sales, etc.). What can you expect? You will be one of the first SF employees at a fast-growing AI tooling startup. You will report to our Head of US Sales and work closely with our co-founder and leadership team. You will navigate complex sales cycles with mid-market and enterprise tech customers, from startups to Fortune 500s. You will build and manage your sales pipeline, close deals, and potentially lead a geography/sector over time. You will build and maintain close relationships across product, engineering, and customer success, providing frontline feedback to help steer the roadmap.
