Overview
This position is located within the Behavioral Health Psychology Services at Blanchfield Army Community Hospital in Fort Campbell, Kentucky. A Direct Hire Solicitation. A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. Fort Campbell is located on the Kentucky/Tennessee border between Hopkinsville and Clarksville, directly off of I-24. Responsibilities
Applies biopsychosocial evaluations to propose behavioral health interventions. Provides evidence-based treatment, including behavioral, cognitive, and motivational approaches. Provides primary care providers and staff regular and concise feedback on the status of referred patients, to include recommendations for team-based care. Implements psychoeducational classes to target high frequency diagnoses found in the primary care clinic. Documents information in the electronic health record during patient encounters. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications

Basic Requirement For Clinical Psychologist (Behavioral Health Consultant) Degree:
Doctoral Degree (Ph.D. or equivalent) directly related to full professional work in clinical psychology. Requirements In addition to meeting the basic requirement above, to qualify for this position you must also meet the qualification requirements listed below: Specialized Experience:
One year of specialized experience which includes conducting behavioral health assessments; providing individual and group treatment; and working as part of a multidisciplinary team. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12). AND Licensure:
This position requires a current, active, valid, unrestricted clinical license to practice Psychology independently, offered by a U.S. State, District of Columbia, commonwealth, territory or jurisdiction. (NOTE: You must provide a copy of your license with your application package). Note:
Some federal jobs allow substitution of education for experience, but for this job you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone—no substitution of education for experience is permitted. Education FOREIGN EDUCATION:
If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs; equivalence to a U.S. education program must be demonstrated, or full credit given for courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
