Overview

Software Engineer – DevSecOps (Experienced or Senior Level) at Boeing. The role focuses on cloud infrastructure, development and deployment pipelines, and securing the software engineering lifecycle. Responsibilities

Develop, document and maintain standardized, efficient, and innovative processes, tools, methodologies, and performance metrics to streamline the software engineering lifecycle and enable continuous integration, delivery, and deployment of safety critical software. Automate, develop, monitor, improve, and troubleshoot across software engineering development, tooling, testing, integration, deployment, configuration processes, and security controls. Analyze, plan, and execute mitigation strategies to prevent potential security risks, threats, and vulnerabilities. Implement an environment that enables high levels of quality, safety, compliance, and continuous improvement across the organization. Support collaboration with cross functional teams to build and maintain robust, scalable, and secure software engineering systems. Implement current and emerging technologies, tools, frameworks, and regulations in the software engineering DevSecOps environment. Basic Qualifications (Required)

Active TS/SCI Security Clearance 5+ years of experience in development frameworks, cloud native technologies and tools, such as CI/CD pipelines, UML, Java, .Net, Docker, Kubernetes, JavaScript, AWS/Azure Cloud 3+ years of experience automating software builds, unit tests, integration tests, deployment, and installations using a DevOps tool chain (Jenkins, Nexus, Artifactory, etc.) 3+ years of experience with Python scripting Experience with software development in a collaborative team environment using agile principles and structured development process including code reviews and automated DevOps processes/tools Preferred Qualifications (Desired)

5 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited program in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science Experience with: GITLAB, Jenkins, Kubernetes, AWS, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and Docker Experience with GIT/SCM Principles Software Development Environment Administration (Dependency Management, PyPI, Conda, etc.) Other Information

Total Rewards & Pay Transparency: Competitive base pay and variable compensation, with eligible benefits including health insurance, retirement plans, and time away from work; pay ranges are based on experience, location, and other factors. Summary pay range for Experienced Level: $112,200 – $151,800; for Senior Level: $130,900 – $177,100 Applications accepted until Sept. 12, 2025 Export Control: Not an Export Control position. Relocation: Relocation is offered based on candidate eligibility. Security Clearance: Active U.S. Top Secret/SCI Clearance required (U.S. Citizenship).
