The Revenue, Loyalty, and Data Analytics organization has invested in a diverse solutions team that advises businesses across the enterprise on technologies that power the availability and pricing of Deltas flight products across our network, including market share forecasting, schedules availability, and competitive pricing and shopping engines. Responsibilities

Owns the technical strategy with software engineering solutions, specifically AWS cloud solutions, combining a high level of domain knowledge with solutions that drive change and innovation across business lines Drive discussions around new and emerging capabilities and help determine the best way to modernize technologies to enable business solutions Leverage expertise with AWS platforms and scaling across the enterprise Work across a diverse stakeholder group, driving consensus, and creating a shared understanding of detailed requirements in conjunction with technical delivery Meet with business teams when needed and perform an initial assessment of problematic situations or articulating the capabilities required to support the business Design, prototype, and demonstrate new features and components for front-end and back-end to users to ensure compliance with requirements Owns design, implementation, and optimization of software approaches, tools, and workflows Assess risks and benefits for solutions recommended to different business units High level consultative interactions with business leaders and technical teams, defining and educating stakeholders on risks and benefits of solutions Platform architecture skills including site reliability engineering, quality and testing, system design and integration, and implementation from the ground up Provide strategic support to customers in defining or designing business processes and help to identify technologies based on customer requirements Coordinate multi-system solutions to clarify interdependencies so that systems appear seamless to the customer Mentor others writing code for software engineering products, including overseeing development of automated tests, delivery pipelines, and automated deployment scripts Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems or related technical field 10+ years of professional experience in software architecture or senior software engineering capacity at enterprise scale 6+ years of experience with the architecture and design of AWS cloud solutions, applications, integrations, and platform engineering Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop junior engineers and developers with best practices Experience defining and maintaining accountability to architectural design patterns and serving as a technology domain's subject matter expert Professional experience working with Agile Methodologies Experience working with DevOps principles, practices and tools in an enterprise technology environment Experience engineering software within an AWS cloud infrastructure or other prominent enterprise cloud provider Foundational knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle, building CI/CD pipelines and practicing Test Driven Development Fundamental awareness of Application Security principles and 12-factor application development principles Experience with source control, build tools, and Git (GitHub, Bitbucket or other) Embraces diverse people, thinking and styles Consistently makes safety and security of self and others a priority Preferred Qualifications

Masters or graduate degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related technical field is preferred 15+ years of professional experience in software architecture or senior software engineering capacity at enterprise scale is preferred 10+ years of experience with the architecture and design of AWS cloud solutions, applications, integrations, security and platform engineering Benefits
