The Data & Analytics department at Post Consumer Brands' is growing! Our team's mission is to empower all stakeholders to maximize business value by ensuring that trusted data and analytics are available at the right time. Working alongside the Data Engineering and Reporting teams, the Data Science team will leverage technical expertise, business acumen and curiosity to deliver high quality data science solutions to key business stakeholders. Your work will be enabled by a modern technology stack including Python, Snowflake (Snowpark ML, Snowflake Cortex) and dbt. As an intern, you will provide data science support to the broader organization, gaining the opportunity to extract meaningful patterns from enterprise data assets. You will help to develop new ML models, engineer robust ML pipelines and explore new data sources across the organization. Interns in the past have been given the opportunity to share their findings with leadership and have had the opportunity to meet key stakeholders here at PCB. Responsibilities

The Data Science Intern will assist in a number of projects. Assignments may include work such as: ML Model Development and Enhancement This includes identifying optimal model methodology, evaluation criteria and hyperparameter tuning. Feature Engineering Create meaningful features with data assets to improve production ML models. Data Source Exploration Explore disparate data sources to assess their value and usability in analytics solutions. Ad Hoc analysis Dive into solving business problems partnering with stakeholders in the organization. Data Visualization Create insightful dashboards and charts to aid in storytelling with business partners. Use Python, R and SQL to analyze and extract insights that will enhance decision making capabilities. Qualifications

Candidates must be pursuing a four-year undergraduate or graduate degree or at an institution with an accredited program in Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science or related field with a graduation date in December 2026 or May 2027. Curiosity to ask the "why" behind things, and creative problem solving to figure it out. Experience in Python (Pandas, scikit-learn, Pyspark, plotly), R (tidyverse, ggplot) and SQL. Proficiency in reporting tools such as Excel, Power BI or Tableau. Demonstrated understanding of Statistical Modeling or Machine Learning concepts and the ability to develop predictive models. Ability to work independently and in teams and bring joy while doing so. Strong written and oral communication skills. Ability to handle confidential information and use discretion within and outside of the organization. Preferred Qualifications

Previous internship or work experience. Demonstrated interest in or prior experience with modern data platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks or Hadoop. Interest in the consumer packaged goods / manufacturing industry with the desire to start a career with Post Consumer Brands after graduation. Additional Program Information & Perks
