SUMMARY OF POSITION To support the continued expansion of our US team, we are seeking a results-driven Sales Director, National Accounts. This critical leadership role will oversee a team responsible for managing strategic national account relationships across the US market, spanning the QSR, fast casual, and casual dining segments. In addition to leading and developing the team, this role will personally manage a portfolio of high-profile national accounts, ensuring exceptional customer engagement and driving sustainable growth. The ideal candidate will bring proven success in foodservice sales with established relationships across the national accounts landscape, deep knowledge of the different market environments in which these segments operate, and a track record of delivering profitable growth. This position demands both strategic leadership and hands-on account management to solidify our position as a preferred flavor solutions partner in customized seasonings and sauces. Develop and execute strategic sales plans to deliver on corporate growth objectives across QSR, fast casual, and casual dining segments. Manage and grow a portfolio of high-profile national accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction, long-term retention, and profitable growth. Leverage established industry relationships to open doors and accelerate new business development. Provide leadership, coaching, and mentorship to the national accounts sales team, fostering a culture of accountability, high performance, and continuous improvement. Partner with customers to identify innovation opportunities that align with their menu strategies and market positioning. Lead contract negotiations with major accounts, ensuring mutually beneficial and sustainable business agreements. Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, Culinary, Sales Operations, and Supply Chain to align product solutions with customer needs and market trends. Utilize market insights, competitive intelligence, and customer feedback to inform sales strategy and product development priorities. Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, implementing corrective actions where needed to meet or exceed targets. Represent the company at key industry events, trade shows, and networking forums to enhance visibility and strengthen relationships. REQUIRED SKILLS, EDUCATION, AND EXPERIENCE Any combination of education and experience providing the required skill and knowledge for successful job performance will be considered. Typical qualifications would be: Bachelors degree from a regionally accredited four-year college or university in Marketing, Business Administration, Food Science, or a related field. Minimum of 10 years of sales experience in the food industry, with a strong focus on customized seasonings, sauces, flavor solutions, and value-added functional ingredients. Proven track record of managing and growing high-profile national accounts across multiple segments, including Quick Service Restaurants (QSR), Fast Casual, and Casual Dining. Established relationships within the national accounts landscape and a deep understanding of the different market environments in which these segments operate. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans that achieve and exceed sales targets. Strong leadership skills with experience in managing, coaching, and mentoring a sales team. Excellent negotiation and contract management skills, with a keen eye for identifying and closing profitable business deals. In-depth knowledge of food and beverage applications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and industry partners. Analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a talent for identifying market trends and leveraging insights for business growth. Willingness to travel extensively to meet with clients, attend trade shows, and participate in industry events. High level of written and verbal communication skills, organizational planning, teamwork, analytical reasoning, and adaptability. Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, preferred. Ability to work well with others in a dynamic environment.
