Performs diagnostic imaging examinations on pediatric patients, ensuring the production of quality diagnostic images. Job Description
Essential Functions: Prepares pediatric patients for radiologic procedures by explaining the process and ensuring their comfort and safety. Operates radiologic equipment to capture images of pediatric patients' internal organs and structures. Reviews images to ensure they meet quality standards and are suitable for diagnostic purposes. Maintains accurate patient records and ensures patient confidentiality. Collaborates with other healthcare professionals to coordinate proper patient care. Maintains and updates knowledge of radiologic technology and safety procedures to ensure the highest level of patient care. Education Requirement: Graduate of an accredited educational program for Radiologic Technology, required. Licensure Requirement: Active Status with the Registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, required. Valid "R" category Ohio Radiological License, required. Certifications: CPR certification, required. Skills: Excellent communication and organizational skills. Experience: One year of clinical experience in the Radiological Sciences, required. Experience in pediatric setting, preferred.
