We’re looking for an GTM Engineer to join PromptLayer and support our sales team in NYC or Denver. Growth engineers live at the intersection of code and revenue—they prototype quickly, run ruthless A/B tests, and ship automations that move business metrics. At PromptLayer you’ll own every technical lever that books qualified meetings, drives engagement, maximizes retention, and most importantly: drives revenue. This includes building and optimizing hyper-personalized outbound agents, lead-scoring pipelines, CRM workflows, and demo sandboxes. The best part: you’ll use PromptLayer every single day—building and iterating on growth automations like our AI hyper-personalized email campaign that’s already driving ~7 % positive replies. What you will focus on: Own & scale AI outbound lead-scoring —refine research, scoring logic, copy-gen, and sequencing. Connect the agent to data sources with MCP. Operate RevOps plumbing —keep HubSpot/Apollo data pristine, enrich accounts, and automate hand-offs between marketing, SDRs, and AE workflows. Build demo sandboxes & custom POCs that wow prospects and shorten sales cycles. Stand up daily growth dashboards —surface pipeline success, A/B tests, and growth trend lines. Instrument event attribution across the funnel (sign-up → activation → demo) so every experiment is data-backed and traceable. (Bonus) Own paid ads, Google Analytics, and SEO strategy —plan, execute, and analyze campaigns to grow qualified traffic and leads. Requirements: Bias to ship fast —comfortable pushing meaningful code or no-code automations to prod multiple times a week. Obsessively data-driven —you instrument, measure, and adjust every change; vanity metrics need not apply. Tech toolkit: SQL & basic scripting are must-haves; Python/LLM frameworks are great bonuses but not mandatory. Experience with n8n, Make, Zapier, are big plusses. RevOps stack: experience with HubSpot, Apollo, Clay, Octave, and Lemlist for enrichment, sequencing, and workflow automation. Live in Denver or NYC or willing to relocate to either. Ways to stand out in the interview: Proven track record shipping a growth experiment that materially moved revenue metrics. Deep understanding of email deliverability, domain warm-ups, and multichannel strategy. Prior RevOps or Growth-Eng role at a high-growth startup. Why Growth Engineers Love PromptLayer: Green-field playground: small team, zero legacy, full ownership. LLM super-powers: work with true AI experts and leverage the platform. Revenue clarity: success is measured in qualified meetings booked —no confusion. Contact jared@promptlayer.com for more info
