Overview
We’re seeking a Strategic Finance Associate to join the Finance team at Chime. You will collaborate with the Strategic Finance team to shape our business and financial strategy, build unit economic frameworks to understand our business model, and drive KPI improvement. You will evaluate the ROI of products, features, and initiatives, and work closely with cross-functional partners to understand financial impact. The role requires an analytical problem-solver with a strategic mindset and strong communication skills, as you will frequently interact with senior executives. Base pay range : $103,680.00/yr - $144,000.00/yr. The base salary offered may be higher depending on location, skills, qualifications, and experience. Full-time employees are eligible for a bonus, equity, and benefits. Salary note:

Responsibilities
Support the development of unit economic frameworks to evaluate the ROI of products, features, and business strategies and guide decision-making Evaluate economic viability and drive strategy for new and emerging products Build strong cross-functional relationships (Product, Risk, Analytics, Banking Strategy) to advise on financial impact and improve performance Partner with Capital Markets to support financing opportunities, including due diligence and financial analyses for investors Use tools to manage financial forecasts and advise leadership on business unit and product performance Facilitate financial analysis to support deal negotiations with vendors and partners Contribute to board and investor materials and other external reporting Guide Analytics to create dashboards and KPIs to track product health and evaluate experimental results
Qualifications
2-4 years of experience in strategic finance, investment banking, private equity, consulting, or venture capital; prior experience at high-growth tech or fintech startups is a plus Expertise in Excel/Google Sheets; experience with Looker or SQL is a plus Experience creating and presenting materials to executive audiences; ability to synthesize key takeaways for collaborators and senior leadership Strong analytical, financial modeling, and problem-solving skills; ability to build models and perform ad-hoc analyses Detail-oriented with a willingness to move quickly in a hyper-growth fintech environment Curiosity, critical thinking, and a desire to evolve the business Team-oriented mindset and positive attitude
