Lead supply chain initiatives in a manufacturing operations environment and all aspects of supplier selection and business transitions with overall project management for your assigned commodities. Develop commodity strategies for the organization and negotiate contracts/agreements with those suppliers. Partner with assigned suppliers, conducting regular business reviews with those having a high impact on the company. Analyze and supervise corrective actions when supplier performance fails to meet expectations and address supplier performance or relationship issues that are raised by our manufacturing sites. Lead requests for supplier pricing or information (RFP/RFI). Essential Requirements
Bachelors degree with 5+ years experience, or Masters degree with 3+ years experience, or Doctoral degree with 0+ years experience 2+ years experience in a procurement, strategic sourcing, or a commodity management capacity in a manufacturing environment Strong business acumen and ability to build strong business cases to support sourcing decisions. Demonstrated negotiation skills and demonstrated use of continuous improvement tools to identify cost savings opportunities Experience working with ERP systems Preferred Qualifications
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in: Complex commodity procurement and strategic relationship management within a highly regulated industry FDA regulated experience Global procurement experience Compensation and Benefits
The salary range for this role is 85,000 to 110,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future. This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay. We offer comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees. Note: No amount of pay is considered to be wages or compensation until such amount is earned, vested, and determinable. The amount and availability of any bonus, commission, benefits, or any other form of compensation and benefits that are allocable to a particular employee remains in the Company's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified at the Companys sole discretion, consistent with the law.
